A little about me…..
I’m Dawn and I’m passionate about jewellery! I’m also the owner and designer of Belong jewellery.
I have a background in design and jewellery having initially worked with a family-run manufacturing jeweller who design and make bespoke pieces. After I gained my honours degree in design, I worked as a designer with Pringle of Scotland to create clothing ranges for the worldwide market. I also met my husband there and we now have three young sons!
So now I combine my experience in jewellery, manufacturing and design to create the diverse collections that make belong truly unique!

The vast majority of our jewellery is hand-made either by us, or by others to our designs and is therefore totally exclusive. We also only make limited quantities in most designs so that way, you are unlikely to walk down the high street and bump into someone wearing exactly the same!
Belong brings together an exciting and eclectic range of exclusive design-led, hand-made jewellery featuring Sterling Silver, Swarovski Crystals (the best!), Freshwater Pearls, Murano Glass, Shell, and more semi-precious stones than I can even start to mention!
Ahead of our time?
I enjoy sourcing jewellery from all over the world, from many, many different suppliers that gives each collection a distinctive theme and feeling, or mood. These themes reflect fashion and the seasons. Sometimes I’m just right time-wise, other times I get too enthusiastic and add collections months before the fashion has really hit the high street. Ooops!
Anyway, we all get really excited at each collection that comes out and we aim to have a new themed collection coming in every few weeks.
A helping hand…
For some of our jewellery, we like to incorporate Hill Tribe Silver, which is made by the Karen tribe in Northern Thailand. Each piece is hand-crafted from 95% – 99% pure silver, with even the smallest pieces being lovingly made by hand. Different families specialise in certain pieces – a flower, or a leaf, for example. So we take some particularly lovely pieces and combine them with British design to create something truly unique! Our custom helps communities and helps provide education for children.
Our philosophy… is to provide jewellery that is easy to wear, and therefore easy to buy as gifts. We aim to bring you exclusive, limited edition, hand-made and design-led fashion jewellery but without the designer price tag! Whilst our pieces have a nod to fashion, all are intended to span seasons and years. They’re not aimed at one particular age group. We’ve found that many pieces may be owned by someone in their forties, borrowed by their late-teen daughter, and their 70-something mother!
Belong allows you to truly wear your imagination – to be individual and to follow fashion without following the crowd.
